HiringReach Chrome extension privacy

The HiringReach extension saves a job posting you are looking at so you can find the hiring manager in the HiringReach app. It does not submit applications.

What we read

When you click Save this posting, the extension reads the posting on the open tab: the job title, company, location, salary if the board shows one, the posting link, the description, how long ago it was posted, and the number of applicants if the board shows it. It sends those fields to app.hiringreach.com with your extension key.

Some company career pages show the posting inside a frame from a job board such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday. The extension can read those frames only if you choose Allow job boards in the popup, and only when you click Save.

What we do not do

We do not scrape pages in the background. We do not sell browsing history. We do not send the posting to anyone except your HiringReach account.

Account key

The extension stores a key you paste from Settings, and the last job you saved, in your browser. You can disconnect that key in Settings at any time.
